We wanted to let our customers know that our Birmingham store is open as usual despite the construction work, which is being carried out on Stephenson Street. It is a part of the New Street station development work. Miss Manchester visits Stitches


Rachel Catherine Docker won Miss Manchester 2012 competition on 25th April. Judges were not only impressed by her stunning look, but also by her bright personality. Stitches have helped Rachel to prepare for the Miss England competition by altering the beautiful dress she is wearing in the left picture. Miss Manchester was announced to be one of the best of Judge’s Choice at the Miss England 2012 contest. Stitches wish her all the best for the future.

Stitches has carried out alterations on Alesha Dixon’s dress


The ex-Strictly Come Dancing judge arrived at the Britain's Got Talent first live auditions looking stunning in a revealing yellow slit dress. Her eye-catching dress needed to be altered before the big day and we took up this challenge. After only a few hours the dress was ready for her and fitted her perfectly! She wanted to make a good impression on the first day at work and Stitches helped her to deliver just that. Alesha joined her fellow judges Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Simon Cowell at the Lowry Theatre in Manchester.

Stitches supports RSP


Stitches have attended the 4th Annual RSP Valentine’s Banquet & Ball in aid of Derian House Children’s Hospice on 11th February 2012 at The Lowry Hotel in Manchester. The event was organised to help RSP to raise the funds they need to continue to provide a crucial care to children and families throughout the North West. Thanks to our donation and support, as well as support of those who attended the ball, RSP was able to pass over a cheque to Derian House for over £140,000.
